The Homestretch Greyhound Rescue & Adoption is an all volunteer organization devoted to the rescue, care and adoption of retired racing greyhounds. During the time these beautiful affectionate greyhounds are waiting permanent loving homes, they receive the best in home shelter, food, medical attention and training available.

It is the Homestretch mission to be advocates for greyhounds: by actively providing a physical alternative to the difficult conditions the dogs encounter during their racing careers and publicly promoting an end to greyhound racing. In our literature we wish to convey all of the wonderful qualities greyhounds possess that make them outstanding companion animals. As long as greyhound racing exists there will be an overwhelming need for rescue and adoption. Nearly every greyhound bred by the racing industry will need to be rescued to find a true home.
