The Homestretch Greyhound Rescue and Adoption is in the process of ending its programs and will no longer be in existence after June 30, 2017. After 13 years of rescuing and rehoming greyhounds, it’s time for us to take a break.

The remaining dogs in the adoption program will be adopted out through The Greyhound Adoption Center (GAC). In addition, GAC will be accepting any Homestretch dogs who need to be returned for any reason. Please check out their website. For further information please refer to the latest Homestretch newsletter GreytTimes using the link below and the GAC website (

A big Thank You to all those who have helped Homestretch carry out it's mission successfully! We have been honored to work with the greyhound community. It has been a privilege to serve the dogs! Barbara Davenport and Bob Smith
